Surveys and How they are Used

Surveys are used by Futurist Press for the following reasons: To get our beta readers input on a work of fiction soon to go to print; to get an idea of what our readers feel about the works of fiction we’re creating for them; to do something fun for our fans and readers. The individual results of these surveys are never made public, sold, traded or leased to any third party. Futurist Press uses a third party service provider, to store and organize results for individual surveys. Log Files

Futurist Press uses a hosting company that follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. (Example: You preorder a book and it is shipped. The company(ies) responsible for shipping and handling will be included in the invoice.
